Senator Chaudhary Attends National Legislator-Sportsman Summit

(Clinton, SC) - Recently, Senator Satveer Chaudhary met with state legislators from around the country to discuss issues that impact hunters and anglers at the state and national level. As a member of the Minnesota Sportsmen's Caucus, Senator Chaudhary met with legislators from more than 20 states at the National Assembly of Sportsmen's Caucuses 5th Annual Sportsman-Legislator Summit to provide input on issues ranging from public and private land access, recruitment, funding for fish and wildlife agencies and ensuring healthy fish and wildlife habitats.

Washington, DC) - Senator Satveer Chaudhary, Chair of the Minnesota Legislative Sportsmen’s Caucus, last week traveled to Washington, DC to meet with the Minnesota Congressional delegation, and attend the first state dinner of the Obama administration honoring Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

Minnesota Legislative Sportsmen's Caucus

Originally formed in 1994, Minnesota was one of the 21 founding state legislative sportsmen's caucuses that united to form the National Assembly of Sportsmen's Caucuses (NASC) in December of 2004.  After functioning independently within their own state legislature, Minnesota policymakers now had a common network for the interaction of ideas and a resource to help advance issues important to sportsmen in their home states.
