American System of Conservation Funding

For the 75th Anniversary of the Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration programs, CSF developed a policy brief, titled "To Share What Is Ours," to better explain the American System of Conservation Funding and how sportsmen and women contribute to conservation through this system. In addition to this brief, CSF in coordination with the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies is working with state legislators and governors to draft resolutions and proclamations commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration programs. Currently, 14 states have passed resolutions and 8 governors have signed proclamations to celebrate the unique "user-pays, public-benefits" system of the American System of Conservation Funding.
CSC Members Dingell and Young Create PSA on WSFR
In recognition of the Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration (WSFR) program's 75th Anniversary, Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus (CSC) members Representatives Don Young (AK) and John Dingell (MI) created a public service announcement to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of WSFR and to thank sportsmen and women for their purchases that benefit game and non-game species and continue to enhance our country’s outdoor traditions and opportunities.
