NASCAR, Hunting and Fishing, Country Music Join Forces Once Again

September 21, 2010 (Washington, DC) -  The Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF) and the NASCAR community will join together once again on Wednesday, October 13 for the 6th Annual “Wine, Wheels & Wildlife” event at Richard Childress Vineyards in Lexington, North Carolina.

As CSF enters its third decade as the most effective voice for sportsmen in the halls of government, NASCAR legend Richard Childress and friends from NASCAR, country music and the sportsmen’s community will gather to celebrate the legacy of this lasting partnership.

“What better way to celebrate and promote the long standing relationship between sportsmen and stock car racing,” said CSF President Jeff Crane. “We are honored to have such dedicated sportsmen leaders such as Richard Childress serve on our board of directors and lead the way in promoting and protecting our way of life.”

“America’s hunters and anglers are NASCAR fans and when they are not watching or attending a race, they are outdoors,” said Childress. “It gives me great pleasure to be able to combine three of my favorite passions to champion a worthy cause.”

Celebrating NASCAR, hunting and fishing, supporters of CSF from across the country will enjoy an evening of outdoor activities including archery, casting, wildlife calling and skeet shooting as well as tour of Childress Vineyard.

As a special bonus this year, country music superstar, avid outdoorsman, and host of “All Access Outdoors” on the Outdoor Channel, Craig Morgan, will also perform some of his greatest hits. The evening will conclude with a dinner and live auction.
