NASCAR Legend Richard Childress Hosts 2011 Wine, Wheels and Wildlife

October 4, 2011 (Washington, DC) - October 3, 2011 (Washington, DC) - NASCAR legend Richard Childress brings NASCAR together with the sportsmen’s community to support the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation (CSF) mission of protecting and advancing America’s outdoor traditions at the 7th Annual “Wine, Wheels & Wildlife” dinner and live auction on October 12.

Celebrating the common passions of racing and hunting and fishing, racing legend Richard Childress brings NASCAR representatives and supporters of CSF together at Childress Vineyards in Lexington, North Carolina to enjoy dinner and an auction, along with an evening of outdoor activities including archery, casting, wildlife calling, skeet shooting, as well as tour of Childress Vineyard.

“As a member of the CSF Board of Directors, I understand the important work going on inside the political arena when it comes to protecting our outdoor traditions of hunting and fishing, and hosting this event every year allows me to champion this worthy cause,” said Childress.

“Richard Childress definitely leads by example when it comes to protecting hunter and angler interests in the halls of government with his continued support of CSF and willingness to utilize his resources to host this important event every year,” said CSF President Jeff Crane.

One of the highlights of the annual Wine, Wheels and Wildlife event is an exciting live auction with all proceeds benefitting CSF.  HERE is the list of live auction items available for bidding at the 2011 Wine, Wheels & Wildlife live auction.
