The 106th Congress was very successful
for conservation and sportsmen. At the same time, anti-hunters
had little success advancing their agenda and actually
lost ground this year. The Congressional Sportsmen’s
Caucus played an important role in these gains. A great
deal of this is the direct result of the organizational
improvements made by the Caucus this year, including
weekly leadership meetings and a Whip Structure.

Foundation and Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus
worked on in the 106th Congress.
