Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation President Jeff Crane and the Congressional Sportsmen's Caucus leadership welcomed more than 30 members of Congress and 500 guests representing agency officials, congressional staff members and outdoor industry executives to the 19th CSF Annual Banquet and Auction last week.
Thanks to the support of more than 100 donors and hosts, the event was wrapped up as the best-ever, raising a record setting amount of more than a quarter of a million dollars. The hosts of this year's event included, ATK, American Sportfishing Association, Archery Trade Association, National Marine Manufacturers Association, and the National Shooting Sports Foundation.
CSF relies on the generous support of the outdoor industry and conservation partners to continue our mission. For nearly two decades, CSF has maintained a singleness of purpose that has guided the organization to become the most respected and trusted hunting and fishing organization in the political arena.
After 19 years of building a link between sportsmen and elected officials, this year's event was evidence of the value of the work of the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation and the Congressional Sportsmen's Caucus. Members of Congress were able to interact with the leaders of the hunting and fishing community to see directly how their efforts on legislation impact hunting and fishing.
