Building Consensus

It is vital to have a unified effort led by the hunting and fishing community in order to have a direct impact on wildlife management policy and ensure increased federal funding. The Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation, with its experience and trust in working with the U.S. Congress, state legislators and federal land management agencies, serves as a leader and coordinator for the nation’s key organizations dedicated to sound wildlife management policy and the protection of America’s great outdoors heritage. We work to give sportsmen a voice – and a seat at the table.

The CSF is particularly proud of its partnerships and effective communications with the nation’s leading conservation and sporting organizations. Respected and established organizations have lent their support to the CSF and welcome us as a coordinating voice on the most important sportsmen’s and conservation issues of the day. Allied industries also understand the important role we play in promoting our outdoor heritage and are proud supporters as well.

How we’re funded

CSF is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization, funded by industry, hunting, fishing and wildlife conservation organizations, as well as fundraising events. CSF is also funded by grants awarded to the Foundation to carry out its education and research programs.

The lifeblood of CSF is our Sportsmen’s Council which unites conservation organizations, the sporting industry and individual hunters, shooters and anglers from around the country. Council members include groups whose concerns range from wildlife population management and land conservation to corporations and businesses who provide America’s sportsmen with the products and services they need to enjoy the great outdoors.
