Each
and every day, the Foundation is at work ensuring
that our nation’s sportsmen and the industries
that serve them have a voice and a seat at the table
when decisions are being made in the halls of government
that will impact our valued outdoor traditions. This
effort is critical to the future of hunting and fishing.
Efforts to educate and inform federal and state elected
officials and federal agency representatives are paying
dividends. The sportsmen's voice is being heard.
However, there is still much work to
do. New members of Congress are elected every two years
and federal agency officials change with each new Administration.
It is our job to ensure these federal representatives
understand our sporting heritage and work to protect
it rather than fall prey to those who wish to take it
away from us.
If you are concerned about the future
of hunting, fishing, the shooting sports, and trapping
you should join the Congressional
Sportsmen’s Foundation.
