| Gary Guinn
Director of Development
Gary joined the Congressional Sportsmen's Foundation in November, 2004 and focuses on enhancing CSF's current corporate and organizational relationships while expanding our support base to better fund our programs and initiatives.
After graduating with honors from Virginia Tech in 1977 with a major in accounting, but with practically all of his electives in fisheries and wildlife management, Gary worked as a CPA for Price Waterhouse in Washington D.C. In 1980, he joined the NASDAQ Stock Market and established its listing and industry analyst departments. In 1991, Gary assumed the position of Director of NASDAQ International and became widely recognized as one of the nation's leading authorities in the areas of international securities and cross-border financings. Ultimately, the call of the wild became too strong and he left NASDAQ after sixteen years to join the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, focusing his efforts largely on forging major conservation partnerships with corporate America. For the seven years he was at NFWF Gary facilitated conservation partnerships with companies such as Anheuser-Busch, Exxon Mobil, Shell Oil, FMC Corporation, Philip Morris, Alcoa, Orvis and ESPN, among others.
Gary was a part-time guide and bass tournament angler in both amateur and professional competitions, and continues to be a frequent fall resident of various treestands in his home state of Virginia. A member of the L.L. Bean Pro Hunting Staff and a field tester for many lure manufacturers, Gary continues to chase his outdoor pursuits whenever time allows and sometimes, even when it doesn't.
