in
In February of 2007, the Utah Legislature officially formed the Utah Legislative Sportsmen's Caucus, becoming the 32nd in the NASC network of state legislative sportsmen's caucuses focused on promoting hunting, fishing, and conservation in the halls of state government.
A group of 30 legislators met to become founding members of the caucus and elected a bipartisan leadership team. Senators Allen Christensen and Margaret Dayton serve as Senate Co-Chairs while Representativ and Mike Noel chairs the Caucus in the House of Representatives.
The Beehive State's 351,000 hunters and anglers spend $696-million annually and support 13,000 jobs.
