South Carolina Sportsmen's Caucus
The South Carolina Legislative Sportsmen's Caucus was founded in 2006 becoming the 29th state in the NASC network of state legislative sportsmen's caucuses.
Former Caucus Co-Chair, Rep. Mike Pitts is a member of the Executive Council of NASC and in 2006 he was honored as the second recipient of the Brad Rowse Leadership Award for his efforts to fight for sportsmen in the South Carolina. He persevered to establish a sportsmen's caucus in a state where legislation is required to do so.
The Palmetto State's 595,000 hunters and anglers spend $1.8-billion annually and support 32,700 jobs.
