Mississippi Legislative Sportsmen’s Caucus

In 2006, Mississippi state legislators formed the Mississipi Legislative Sportsmen's Caucus, becoming the 28th in a national network.
Since inception, the Mississippi Sportsmen's Caucus has passed legislation:
- Giving youth and other newcomers expanded opportunity to hunt
- Ensuring state public hunting lands will always be available by requiring that the state maintain a baseline of state lands available for hunting
- Banning the unethical practice of remote hunting via the internet
The Magnolia State's 537,000 sportsmen spend $863-million per year and support 17,000 jobs
